Florida Weather Mans Dog Steals Show
One of the biggest perks of working from home is getting to have your dog with you while you’re on the clock. Sometimes this leads to barking in the background of phone calls or tails wagging on our Zoom calls. Not all of our dogs get to make the local weather broadcasts on the news!
Fox 13 in Tampa Bay had a special guest during the weather forecasts during the pandemic. Chief meteorologist, Paul Dellegatto has been joined by his very good boy named Brody. Paul and Brody went viral because this is exactly the kind of news that we need in 2020. One of the most popular videos features Brody knocking over Dellegatto’s computer, which disabled the weather graphics. The meteorologist then welcomed the large golden retriever on his lap for the rest of the segment.

Brody then finds where the cameraman was through the window. He jumps up on the window and his furry head takes up most of the screen. Luckily, everyone loved it and it brought some much need joy and smiles to the news. “That’s all right, Brody. We enjoyed every minute of that,” said noon anchor Linda Hurtado.
Fox 13 later shared a video titled “Brody’s Greatest Hits” so that fans can look back on the good times that they had with Brody and Paul!
