Winter Springs Dog Trainer
Sit Means Sit is so much more than just a dog training company. We are committed to using the most advanced and successful training methods to foster relationships between owners and their pets.
The happiest dogs are those who are well-trained and content. When you see a dog calmly resting at their owner’s feet beneath a cafe table, you’re seeing a dog who is living their happiest life.
For this reason, we have done our best to curate a list of programs that are versatile as well as practical. Every dog is welcome to participate, no matter the breed, age, behavior problem, or temperament. Any of our programs such as the Board and Train Program, Day and Train Program, Private Lessons, or anything else that we offer will end with your pet being able to go anywhere you want them to go while maintaining control and obedience.
Everything you need to know and more can be learned through our FREE consultation program where you can meet with one of our dog trainers and get to know your environment.

Board and Train
Whether you have a family trip coming up over a school break, or you’re simply a busy person who can’t devote the necessary time to your dog’s training, Board and Train is an excellent option for you. It solves the issue of finding some place for your dog to stay while you’re gone, but it also addresses the need for training.
You can leave your dog for up to 20 days, and each day they will receive the utmost love and care as well as training that will correct bad behaviors and instill only the best. By the time you return, your dog will be a happier, healthier creature.
At the return of your dog, you will need to take on the role of a leader. Your dog will have just spent a decent amount of time being instructed by someone other than you, which means resuming your role as their authority will take some intentionality. However, there’s no need to worry because our staff will make sure you have a perfect understanding of what needs to be done to ensure a smooth transition.
To avoid the anxieties that sometimes accompany leaving your dog overnight in a new place, we encourage all potential participants of the Board and Train program to take full advantage of our free consultation where you and your dog can meet our staff, check out the surroundings, and ask all your questions.
Day and Train
Day and Train is the perfect balance of an involved owner and a lightened load. We take on the bulk of the responsibility by accepting your charge at the beginning of your work day for 6-8 hours once a week for three weeks. At the end of the workday, that’s when your part comes in. When you come by to pick your dog up for an evening at home, you will partake in a 1-hour session with your dog’s trainer. The meeting covers everything you need to know about what your dog learned and how you can maintain the training.
The program fits seamlessly into a busy life without you having to give up the evenings you spend bonding and deriving comfort from your canine companion.
Private Lessons
Private lessons are perfect for those dog owners who want to be directly involved in their dog’s training. These lessons will improve your dog’s behavior, and your knowledge of training and maintenance, and, perhaps most importantly, it will deepen the bond between you and your pet.
Having a trainer to assist you in this process makes everything go smoothly and provides you with an unprecedented opportunity to strengthen the bonds that already exist.
Group Classes
Group classes, though not as exclusive as private lessons, are a lot of fun and they’re excellent experience for you and your dog. The world is a big place full of unending distractions such as unfamiliar dogs, people, and places. You might think that group classes pull away from what your dog can gain from the group classes, but the opposite is true. The real-world experience that this setting provides is invaluable.
Group classes happen multiple times a week and are included with every Sit Means Sit Membership.
Puppy Training Class
Puppies are wonderful, but they’re also a lot of work. Getting the relationship right from the start is crucial to the longevity of the bond between you and your pup. Training builds a strong foundation that will last a lifetime when properly maintained by a knowledgeable and caring owner.
Sit Means Sit holds puppy training every Saturday for dogs that are 10-20 weeks old and each session teaches vital skills such as potty training, lure training mark training, socialization, and overall confidence. By the end of one class, your puppy will be much better equipped to handle the gigantic world they live in.

Dog Owners Reviews
We love customers and their dogs. They love us.
If you’re hesitant about this company, take the leap!!! I was so scared to leave my fur baby for training, but when I got him back, he was so well behaved and properly trained. They care about your pups and will send you pictures throughout the stay. My golden retriever was decently trained but wasn’t…
I’ve had dogs pretty much all of my life. I grew up with them, loved them, cared for them but I didn’t really know how to train them until I joined Sit Means Sit. They helped me be a better leader for my Doberman Daisy. When she struggled they helped me realize she was leash-reactive…
Sit Means Sit is AMAZING! I first contacted them two years ago to help with my 5 year old dog, Loki. He had been exhibiting some very aggressive behavior due to some changes in our home. I opted to do the board and train and the results were fantastic. I got updates of his progress…
I adopted a 3 1/2 year old Shepard mix from the pound 3 months ago. After a month of warming up to me, he was comfortable. He began showing his dominant personality and gave me huge challenges. Since joining Sit Mean Sit, I am able to take my dog on walks without dragging behind him…
